Is Swag se Swagat a Copied Song?
Bollywood has a rich history pf music and dance but no matter most of the songs are copied from the west and some from our traditional Pakistani Music. Music composers like Anu Malik and Pritam are famous for copying songs and converting them so beautifully that one hardly recognizes that the song has been copied. Infact, Anu Malik is a master of fusing two western ongs into a single one. Hats off!
Day by day, the list of copying songs in Bollywood is increasing, and the most recent example is Swag Se Swagat belonging to the most anticipated Salman-Katrina starrer sequel Tiger Zinda Hai. The song is composed by Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani. The song was released last week and took the internet by storm as it became viral instantly. But few days after the song’s release, the hard truth was unveiled and internet was full with the claims that the song has been copied by DJ Katch’s The Horns.
The song The horns features DJ Katch, Deborah Lee, Greg Mays and DJ Cool and as you listen to the song, you will realise that Swag Se Swagat has the same beats as The Horns.

The film makers have invested a lot in Swag Se Swagat with more than 100 dancers all from Greece, France, Trinidad and Tobago and the video is shot in Greece. If they have invested their minds too, no doubt they would not have to face such shame.

The song is still trending on the charts but alas, it is copied.
